[Yet] Yahweh is a God whose \u2018steadfast love\u2026 never ceases\u2019 and whose \u2018mercies never come to an end\u2019 (Lam. 3:22\u201323). Out of his boundless kindness, Yahweh promised that, in the latter days, \u2018the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed\u2019 (Dan. 2:44) and that \u2018one like a son of man\u2019 would receive \u2018dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him\u2019 (7:13\u201314).
