Fulfilling Moses\u2019s prediction of a prophetic covenant mediator to whom others would listen, God declared of Jesus in Moses\u2019s sight, \u201cThis is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to him\u201d (Matt. 17:5). Everyone who hears Christ\u2019s words and acts on them is wise, and the call to make disciples includes teaching others to obey Christ\u2019s teaching. His instructions through his apostles now provide the essence for all Christian instruction.
