He also asserts that the world\u2019s hating him without cause was fulfilling exactly what had been predicted in the lament of Psalm 35:19. Significantly, as \u201ca disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master\u201d (Matt. 10:24), anyone who wants to follow Christ must \u201cdeny himself and take up his cross and follow\u201d him (16:24)&#8230;.
