Halfway through Ps 22, the king experiences rescue (22:21b). The remainder of 22 recounts the worldwide impact of his salvation (22:22\u201331). Psalm 23 then has the king praising Yahweh for the deliverance he experienced in Ps 22, just as he promised to do in 22:22 [23 MT]. The capstone psalm (Ps 24) repeats themes seen in earlier capstone psalms. The king declares the entire earth belongs to Yahweh because he created it (24:1\u20132). He speaks of the one eligible to ascend Yahweh\u2019s \u201chill\u201d (cf. 2:6; 15:1). The psalm ends with the king calling Yahweh to take his rightful place as \u201cKing of glory\u201d (24:7\u201310).
