This is even more true today than it was then in light of Christ\u2019s resurrected life, on which our future rests. When we face suffering, God\u2019s promises in Scripture supply one of the bulwarks of hope for Christians. I say \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">one<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the bulwarks of hope,\u201d because God\u2019s character and disposition toward the broken also give us hope: \u201cO Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption\u201d (Ps. 130:7). Nevertheless, with respect to his promises, we trust that God <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> be faithful to his Word and that in his good time he <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> act.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><br style=\"font-weight: 400;\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"give_campaign_id":0,"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_crdt_document":""},"class_list":["post-4708","reading-plan","type-reading-plan","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/handstotheplow.org\/am\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/reading-plan\/4708","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/handstotheplow.org\/am\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/reading-plan"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/handstotheplow.org\/am\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reading-plan"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/handstotheplow.org\/am\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4708"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
