\u201cPaul notes that all sorts of people can be saved in this new covenant day because \u2018there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus\u2019 (1 Tim. 2:5). Similarly, after affirming that, from a certain perspective, \u2018there are many \u201cGods\u201d and many \u201clords,\u201d\u2019 the apostle highlights: \u2018Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist\u2019 (1 Cor. 8:5\u20136).
