The rest address various physical, material blessings of provision and protection. While Paul\u2019s use of Leviticus 26 in 2 Corinthians 6:16 (see above) suggests that indeed old covenant blessings matter for Christians, the fact that the apostle focused only on the blessing related to God\u2019s Spirit in the midst of his people highlights that the material blessings are still to come in the new earth.
