Jesus lived for the glory of his Father (John 7:18; 17:4). His death and resurrection vindicated God\u2019s righteousness and exalted God\u2019s glory. \u201cGod put forward [Jesus Christ] as a propitiation by his blood, . . . so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus\u201d (Rom. 3:25\u201326). \u201cChrist redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us . . . so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles\u201d (Gal. 3:13\u201314).
