Psalm 2 (which, like Psalm 1, is an introductory psalm) concludes by describing the \u201cblessed\u201d people: \u201cBlessed are all who take refuge in him\u201d (2:12). These two uses of \u201cBlessed\u201d form an envelope connecting Psalm 1 and Psalm 2. This envelope demonstrates that both psalms are about the identity, the actions, and the destiny of those people who are blessed by Yahweh.
