(2) Keep in mind the major plot: God\u2019s intervention in the history of human\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fallenness by providing a means for restored blessing (e.g., 28:14). (3) Keep in mind the several sub-plots: (A) Adamic-Noahic covenant + Abrahamic covenant. (B) God\u2019s kingdom expands through a community of kingdom families. (C) Promise of a special \u201coffspring\/seed\u201d who would conquer the enemies of God\u2014War of Judgment\/Holy War motif\u2013\u2013and restore blessing to the whole world (e.g., 28:14), thus making Abraham a father of a multitude of nations (e.g., 28:14). (D) Faith in the promise of God is foundational for relationship with him.
